So overwhelming – where to begin?

Wow!

My husband and I would like to take our young family to Cape Cod this year as we’re still looking for that ‘special someplace’ that we’ll want to make a tradition of every year.

I was immediately drawn to this site because it was started by ‘real people’ but I’m still feeling overwhelmed at where to even begin!

So I guess my first question I’m hoping to find an answer for is ‘resort or rental’?!

Thanks!
April

6A

Having lived on the cape for many years I would say anywhere on 6A where Ocean Edge is. Depends what you want. But it is the pretty side of the cape. If you like relaxing and beauty Turo or Wellfeet is the place to go. P-Town ( provincetown )is fun has nice shops, good food, great sites to see but it has a large gay population some people don’t like that. But many people go there. If I was going to go for vac Turo, little cottages and guest houses on the beach, what could be better.

Both!

Hi April,

You can have the best of both worlds at Ocean Edge. You can rent a condo or patio home and still enjoy the resort. You can find many rentals at www.oceanedge.net, and also at www.weneedavacation.com. Be aware that you have to rent from someone with beach priveledges in order to use the beach. That usually means a condo on the bayside of the resort.

Hope this helps,
John
